cruise ship hit by wave

Two people were declared dead as a cruise ship in the Mediterranean was lashed by a huge wave which was believed to be as high as three story building. The cruise ship hit by wave was called the Louis Majesty which holds the capacity to house as many as seventeen hundred and ninety passengers. Fourteen other passengers were also injured in the incident which caused semi flooding of the cruise ship.

The cruise ship hit by wave left a German and Italian citizen dead and was on the way to the city of Genoa in Italy after departing from the Spanish coastline city of Barcelona. The captain of the cruise ship hit by wave said that a progression of three waves of an abnormal magnitude has impacted the ship affecting windows and cabins as far up as the fifth deck on the Louis Majesty.

The ship was on twelve night trip of the western Mediterranean which was meant to stop at a various locations including Spain, Morocco, the Canary Islands and Tunisia and though the ship was meant to dock at its destination port in Genoa it turned back and headed to Barcelona where it docked on the third of this month.

Comments from the passengers portray the ordeal as something that was terrifying, and I am assuming something that they would not ever want to go through again. The windows of the ship were broken by the wave and the onboard restaurant and passenger cabins saw partial flooding as water from the waves entered the ship.
