Melba Moore was a Tony Award winner before and still showing her edge in performing. She was famous today as the ill-fated Fantine of the Les Miserables original production. She did perform her solo at the MEtropolitan Room in Manhattan before.

Her R&B hits include "I Am His Lady," "Falling" and "Read My Lips," which was nominated for a Grammy Award. Moore was also seen in the Paramount film "The Fighting Temptations."
