After the sad news that Rapper Guru had suffered a heart attack, come reports that he is now in a comatose state. Guru was the founding member of famous group Gangstarr, has released 6 albums, and is thought to be a forerunner in the world of hip-hop.
He has worked with many artists from all different genres of music since the 1990’s. Although his real name is Keith Elam, he is famous as Guru, which stands for ‘gifted unlimited rhymes universal’. He released his first album in 1993, ‘Jazzmatazz Vol. 1’ in 1993.
The news of his tragic critical condition will shock fans, and of course family and friends, especially as he is only 43. Guru is currently receiving treatment at a New York Hospital.
