Who is Jane Erin Carrey? You may already know that she's the 22-year-old daughter of actor and comedian Jim Carrey, but now that she's a new mom as of Saturday, trends show you're dying to know more.
Indeed we reported this weekend when Jim Carrey became a grandfather. Is he happy? Uh, just a little. On Saturday Jim Carrey posted a TwitPic of his new grandson for his near-400,000 to check out. "Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of California dynomite looks like! %^>," Jim Carrey wrote.
Twenty-two years before the 48-year-old actor turned into a grandfather, he became father to Jane Erin Carrey, his daughter to his wife of eight years until 1995, Melissa Womer. Jane Erin Carrey was born in L.A. on September 6, 1987 and grew up to star in a 2003 reality series Celebrities Uncensored. Jane is now in a band called The Jane Carrey Band. (We have video of them below.) Jane Erin Carrey is married to Alex Santana, who plays in the group Blood Money under the name Nitro.
Jane Erin Carrey is also active in raising autism awareness, along with her father and his girlfriend of five years Jenny McCarthy. McCarthy has said she's thrilled to be a "grandma" to Jane Carrey's baby Jackson. It's said that Jenny McCarthy and Jane Carrey are very close with one another.
